Children

There is a programme of events throughout the week for children.

The children are taught on Sunday morning in small, age-based groups to explore the Bible through interactive activities and engaging discussions focussed on learning about Biblical accounts and scriptures and applying it to their every day lives. Alongside this, a baby and toddler group is facilitated to enable parents to fully access the main service. The children are also strongly encouraged to be part of the main service by having percussion instruments during worship and through a designated service once a month for "Praise and Play" where we offer lunch afterwards for a small cost and encourage families to stay and let their children have an extended time of play with one another.

On a Wednesday evening, the children have a chance to meet at one of two groups from 6:30-7:45pm - one aimed at children in Reception-Year 2 and
the other for children in Key Stage 2 (Year 3-6) - where they take part in games, activities and age appropriate biblical discussion.

We also run extra events for children throughout the year (such as trips out in the Summer Holidays) and welcome parents to bring children along to any age appropriate events that are running.

These groups and events are taught by an amazing team of committed, dedicated volunteers, all of whom are DBS checked and receive comprehensive training on working with children. A copy of our safeguarding policy can be found here.
